Hello! I'm Sami-Jo Martinez. I have worked in the music industry for six years now. My main career goal is to work as a tour manager. However, I have a wide variety of work experience in the music industry. 

 

 A brief summary of who I am and what my goals are in the music industry. For starters, I am a musician. I am able to play various instruments like drums, piano, bass, guitar, marimba, vibraphone, Cajon, tambores, and steal drums. At the age of thirteen, I began promoting for local bands in West Palm Beach, Florida. The genre of music that I promoted for was a very diverse variety. I then began working as a drum technician at the age of fifteen for several bands and also for my high school marching and Jazz band. At the age of sixteen I began managing several bands. I was more involved as the manager for the bands that I was preforming with due to my great leader and communication skills. Music has always given me the inspiration and motivation that I would like to share with others.

It has always been a dream of mine to work along side with Kevin Lyman, founder of the Vans Warped Tour. Hopefully while working in the music industry, I will be able to achieve my goals and work for the Vans Warped Tour one day!
